Here's what nobody admits: consuming ideas feels exactly like building skills — right up until you need to use one. Six days of reading can vanish like atmosphere through a cracked seal if you never stop to name what stuck.
But you didn't just read. You practiced three concrete skills: noticing the gap between a trigger and your response, catching your defaults before they drive, and recognizing when indecision is quietly making your choices for you. Those aren't concepts — they're instruments.
Skills stick when you can describe them in one sentence each. If you can say what a skill does — out loud, to a bored friend — it's wired in. If you can only gesture vaguely, it's still cargo you haven't unpacked.
Marcus almost skipped today. "Recap days are filler," he said. Then he tried to explain Day 4's lesson to his co-pilot and realized he'd been using it all week without knowing the words for it. Naming it made it twice as sharp.

Grab something to write on. For each of your three skills — pattern recognition, reframing, and forcing decisions — write one specific moment from this week where you actually used it. Not "I understood it." When did you do it?
